What is a third party fundraiser?
A third-party event is an event or promotion sponsored by a person or organization (the “third party”) that supports Beyond Batten Disease Foundation. Some teams organize third party fundraising events–dinners, auctions, happy hours–to help them reach their fundraising goal. We encourage you to be creative to help raise money and awareness for the Foundation.
BBDF has established the following guidelines and approval procedures to ensure that any third party event benefiting BBDF is planned and executed in a manner that best benefits the Foundation’s goals and to ensure that BBDF remains in compliance with all state and federal regulations. If you are planning an event to raise funds for your team, please review the guidelines and fill out and return the application form to BBDF at least one week before the planned event.
